for a long time, nearly all my friends were guys and i pathologically avoided forming friendships with women. when i think back to all the times i got “in trouble” with the JWs, it was a women who forced the issue. as i read this blog post, and i wonder if that has anything to do with my general distrust of women.

on the upside, i think as i’ve gotten older i’ve learned to be a better judge of character in general, so i feel comfortable about the women in my life.

i’m the same way. my home is NOT a hotel. i’ll do everything i can to make your stay comfortable, but unless you’re going to leave me a very nice tip on the dresser when you leave, don’t expect me to pick up after you the entire time.

did someone really rearrange your furniture?

there are definitely some bad tattoos out there, but even going to a professional doesn’t guarantee a good one. my old roomie and i went to the exact same shop in berkeley to get tattoos on vacation on year. i had researched all the shops in the area, and looked over the portfolios of at least 10 artists before i finally chose. she just walked in and took whoever they gave her. mine turned out great, hers turned out horrible, and she had to pay someone else to cover it up later. just goes to show, pays to do your homework. i agree, it’s a big decision, and it’s on there forever. why would you let some random person do it? (i tend to get a little ranty about this topic, can you tell? haha)
